Apparently we are all on break because God is fixing the world and we just have to let go and let God, while doing that I will love us to go through some wise sayings of Jesus.

These sayings help us clear our confusions and answer our many questions. I hope that this break the world has given to us will be an opportunity for us to improve ourselves and live better lives so that when we return to the outside world they will see and testify of the changes and the goodness of God in our lives.
Therefore make yourself isolation worth it!
I started a bible study challenge with a friend Doctor Halima, yes! you guessed right we are namesakes and we have a lot In common, she is a God sent to my life and I just want to use this platform to appreciate her. Thank you Ma, I love you❤️
I was studying The fifth chapter of Mathew and I decided to give the headlines like it’s written in my bible.
Anger
““You have heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’ But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell.”
Matthew 5:21-22 NLT
During this break if you are with your families, you will be stepping on some nerves and they will be stepping on yours too, fill your heart with the word of God, you no longer have time as your excuse not to! Use the break as an opportunity to fix every broken part of your life while spend quantity time with your family.
Adultery
““You have heard the commandment that says, ‘You must not commit adultery.’ But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. So if your eye—even your good eye —causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your hand—even your stronger hand —causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.”
Matthew 5:27-30 NLT
This is going to be a topic for another day on the blog, wait patiently !
Divorce
““You have heard the law that says, ‘A man can divorce his wife by merely giving her a written notice of divorce.’ But I say that a man who divorces his wife, unless she has been unfaithful, causes her to commit adultery. And anyone who marries a divorced woman also commits adultery.”
Matthew 5:31-32 NLT
The good thing about staying at home is you will come to realize what you have or what you don’t have, a lot of people strive in their marriages cause they are away from each other but now that you are all together, you might get to realize somethings about your spouse that you dislike and can’t tolerate. It is good that during this break you build your home and water it with love, the word and prayers.
May this break reduce and not increase the rate of divorce in the world. 🙏 Amen!
Vows
““You have also heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not break your vows; you must carry out the vows you make to the LORD.’ But I say, do not make any vows! Do not say, ‘By heaven!’ because heaven is God’s throne. And do not say, ‘By the earth!’ because the earth is his footstool. And do not say, ‘By Jerusalem!’ for Jerusalem is the city of the great King.
Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one.”
Matthew 5:33-35, 37 NLT
I know that some of us are afraid and scared of what the pandemic is causing in the world but please in this season don’t be quick to make vows you can’t keep to God or to people, make sacrifices to God instead, let your yes be yes and your no be no.
Revenge
““You have heard the law that says the punishment must match the injury: ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say, do not resist an evil person! If someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer the other cheek also. If you are sued in court and your shirt is taken from you, give your coat, too. If a soldier demands that you carry his gear for a mile, carry it two miles. Give to those who ask, and don’t turn away from those who want to borrow.”
Matthew 5:38-42 NLT
Learn to forgive in this season.
Love for enemies
““You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
Matthew 5:43-48 NLT
It’s a time to love everyone, pray for everyone, intercede and stand together in prayers. This is not a season to hate but to forgive!
And finally, take time out to study on all of these, meditate on the word of God and trust him to save the world, he has done it before with his son as the price, he will do it again!
Please take a moment to say a prayer for the world, you can also drop your prayer in the comment box.
Lord Jesus, we know that you are the doer, we come to you for help, we trust in your judgment father but we ask you for mercy, have mercy lord and heal the world in Jesus name. Amen!
Salainis
I had learned already many of the Outland methods of communicating by forest notes rather than trust to the betraying, high-pitched human voice.
None of these was of more use to me than the call for refuge. If any Outlier wished to be private in his place, he raised that call, which all who were within hearing answered.
Then whoever was on his way from that placed hurried, and whoever was coming toward it stayed where he was until he had permission to move on.
