Statistics shows that 51% of children who have been abused end up in an abusive relationship.

Before I continue, I had like to appreciate everyone of you. Your love, encouragement, my dear I couldn’t take it all. The number of emails and messages I got are overwhelming, you guys literally encouraged me by sharing your stories. Oh how did we get here, LOL. You guys are the best. I love you ♥️

I replied to one of the emails I received and I shared first hand with a friend; the reason you can’t talk about your past freely is because you haven’t healed, it’s because you have pushed it pass you without bothering to pick the pieces of yourself left in the dirt. This will lead to the third way I fought through sexual sin.

3. Forgiveness:

You are only as free as the people you have forgiven. Forgive yourself for falling into every trap, forgive yourself for the mistakes you have made, then stretch it by forgiving the people involved.

When I started praying about the things I have been through and praying for the people involved, which was one of the most difficult experience. I started to pray for my mum and that was when I realized that I held a great bitterness towards her, I was angry at her for always being busy, for not seeing my secret tears and I knew deep within me that I had to forgive her and let it go. (My mum is the most beautiful and strongest woman on earth, try raising six kids on your own) Forgiveness doesn’t happen at once, it a phase you have to grow through… it’s difficult to realize the unforgiveness that’s within us, until we start to pray about the situation.

4. Repentance:

Please note that i arranged these according to my dealings with God.

I’m trying to count the number of times I have given my life to God and the number of times I took it back. Thank God for his unending mercy and love, he has rescued me.

The fact that you have repented of your sins doesn’t mean that you won’t go back to them. This is the phase you get to experience God as a father.

As a child I always gave my mum my savings to keep, sometimes I give up and take it back, other times I find catchy things I want to buy with my money and no matter how she tried to make me understand why I shouldn’t spend my savings, I always picked the option where she had to give me back my money.

But whenever I go back to her, she still collected my savings and helped me saved them. It’s the same relationship with repentance, you will have to learn to go to God unashamed, no matter how stained or dirty you look.

I remember the number of times I just wanted to hide in my blanket and listen to the devils update on how terrible and worthless I am instead of go to the father for cleansing.

You need to be the kind of child that goes to God and not run away from him when things get dirty.

If God can raise the dead, he can manage the living.

Learn to go to God and tell him all that you have done. We confess to God not because he doesn’t know what we have done but because we need to accept our wrongs and be able to talk to him about it.

5. Deliverance:

We can’t ignore the place of deliverance, life is more spiritual than physical. Everything that has happened or is happening on earth has first taken place in the spirit realm.

Sex is spiritual!

Every one you have had sexual intercourse with has a piece of you and you have your souls tied together ‘soul ties ’ where there was an exchange of spirit and characteristics.

You start to look like the people you have been involved with, you start to act like them. That’s when you start to lie, steal, and do other things you have never done before or imagined.

I’m speaking from a place of experience cause I struggled with lying, there is no way I’m going to tell my mum or sisters that I have been indoors watching porn. Look at the transitions, from when I knew it was wrong to when I loss all sense of what’s right or wrong. You need to be spiritually delivered from sexual sins!

I met my spiritual father Apostle Joshua Selma’s in 2013 and I started running away from church. See why I told you that you need spiritual deliverance, it’s very easy for me to have believed that I have been healed and keep to myself but the moment I decided to open up, the devil wanted to wrap me around his fingers. In every stage of your life you will always need counsel and authority to submit to.

I was prayed for and separated from the spirit of sexual sin for good!

Did I go back to it?

Yes, I did!

And then I repeated It over and over again,

We know that the Law is spiritual, but I am a creature of the flesh [worldly, self-reliant—carnal and unspiritual], sold into slavery to sin [and serving under its control]. For I do not understand my own actions [I am baffled and bewildered by them]. I do not practice what I want to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate [and yielding to my human nature, my worldliness—my sinful capacity].”

Romans 7:14-15 AMP

Only the power of Christ can set you free, with deligence from your own part.

I have made mistakes, I have taken stupid decisions, I have been with the wrong people, but do you know what statistic can’t show, it’s can’t calculate the rate of Gods mercy and redemption. It is right when it says 51% of people end up in toxic relationships but when you meet Christ, when your life encounters Christ, statistic has to bow…

You have the right to choose what defines you, your past or your future?

I had an ugly past but I also knew that In Jeremiah 29:11 God says he has a plan for me and I also knew that I was tired of making plans for my life, plans outside the will of God and by the time I was 16 I was head over heals for Jesus. I was in Love, divine Love of the father.

And one day I would write a letter, this letter is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but in human hearts.

2 Corinthians 3:3

The spirit of God is touching you today, if you have had to go through similar situation or a different one, the spirit of God is touching you where you are, he is healing you. As you read this blog post God is moving in every area of your life, he is here to love you and to heal you.

He will leave the 99 to go after you. Rise and forgive yourself and every one that has caused you pain,God is touching every ugly path and healing every wound, he is giving you closure in the areas you need closure.
