Meet the anointed woman.
My name is Sharon Mama Takim, I have four siblings, used to be five, but I lost my first brother in March 😔 My mum is a teacher, my father is a lawyer, I’m the next to last, but most people think I’m the first child, I have no idea why 🤷🏼♀
I’m from Cross River State, both my parents are from the same local government, I love to cook for people, but I’m extremely difficult to cook for, I love street food and I love to read. I wear many hats, but I’m currently a teacher leader with Teach for Nigeria. Most importantly, today is my birthday 😌😌

What do you look up to in a few years from now?
Sharon:
Because of the nature of my life, I know that my life will be radically different from what it is now, I look forward to marriage, kids (no I’m not ashamed that I want these), advancement in the things I’m currently doing, business wise, but given the nature of my life, I won’t be surprised to find myself somewhere in China preaching my heart out, but most importantly, I look forward to being fulfilled and joyful, whatever direction my life takes.
How do you develop passion for what you do?
Sharon:
I think first off, the starting point is to know yourself. Some things are eliminated automatically, next we have certain inclinations, things that aren’t so hard for us to do, this is a good place to continue. Passion can be developed by practice because fulfilment comes from doing something and doing it well, whether you feel emotionally attached to it or not, emotions can come in later. Next, the things you love and can learn to do should be considered. Stratify them according to importance, then find your master key. The master key is the one thing that can lead to everything else. For instance, I communicate a lot. I talk, I write. I’m not particularly social, but I learned because I needed to reach people. My master key is communication which branches into several other things. It’s also wise to not focus on more than two things as a time, or even one.
How has your childhood shaped your life now?
Sharon:
Well, I didn’t exactly have a great childhood, and the very first lesson I learned was what I definitely did not want out of life. I also learned very quickly to be independent, and it helped me with adjusting to life as an adult. I honestly have no regrets about how I grew up, even though I wouldn’t wish it on anybody.
What’s the biggest risk you have taken in life?
Sharon:
Last year, I received a clear instruction to move from Lagos to Zaria. I didn’t have any support, everybody fought me, but like the zombie I am when it comes to God, I picked my stuff and went when He said go. I got to Zaria with no money, no prospects, no idea where I was going to live, no idea really of what I was going to do, but there was no other option. Anything outside of God gets a no automatically. And a year and six months later, I have no regrets. None at all. I’ve gone from miracle to miracle.
Who do you look up to in life?
Wow. Many people model different things for me, but top three, for different reasons, Apostle Joshua Selman, Ibukun Awosika and Folawe Omikunle, the CEO of Teach for Nigeria
What is your greatest achievement so far?
Sharon:
I’m weird in that many of the things that people see as achievements hardly impress me, so I’ll say I haven’t really done anything that I can consider an achievement as such. So in keeping true to myself, I won’t mention any of the things I have been applauded for.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Sharon:
Five years. Wife, mother, minister.
What do you think about birthdays?
Sharon:
I think that Birthdays are portals through which you can access a lot of things which are unattainable on a regular day. I’m not a big fan of parties, but it’s important that we are grateful, and then take stock of the last year and plan for the year we are coming into. I spend the first few hours of my Birthday with God, just thanking Him and hearing His plans for the coming year, I don’t go out if I can avoid it, I fast for half the day (this is extreme, don’t be like me), but basically I shut down on my natural environment so I can key into the spiritual properly. After I do this, then I can receive calls and celebrate those that celebrate with me. Birthdays are fun. Especially if you have embarrassing throwback.

Sharon:
Oh my. Don’t make me start talking about Him. He’s everything. My Lover, my Husband, my Heart and its beat, my Best Friend. The anchor of my life. I like to tell Him sweet things like this. He loves it. He’s more real to me most times than the people I see with my physical eyes and I love him.
Any love-relationship?
Sharon:
Lol,I can’t answer this currently. Maybe we can revisit this in six months, but I’m not searching.

I remember a time I had lethargy in my Final Year, I knew exactly with whom it was possible to find the answers I so badly needed. I shared with her, and in less than a few, scrolls of solution were rolling.
Mama Takim, always willing to bind the broken hearted and proclaim the gospel of Hope. It is literally impossible to find Sharon just sitting down when there’s work to be done.

As I look at the black valley of despair in my past, I could trace my desperate need for a friend, and a sister who could help stabilise my confused state of the new life I found but still planted in same environment. Before I start I need to say THANK YOU for putting up with me all this time, you are amazing and truly special to me..Little did I know ABBA sent one of his gemstones my way and though he kept positioning me to my answered prayers in my job position i wasn’t sensitive and yet in his mercy He still drew me in…SHARON as I always have in my thoughts as ABBA’s bride is one of my greatest blessings in 2018 though known her for several years.

I’m not a womanizer, really. But that morning I caught myself staring at this lady who walked into the church with some exceptional elegance. It isn’t always the norm for a first timer to be all too confident walking into a new church, but this one was something else.. As an usher, I was dubbed with the responsibility of smiling at the worshippers as the filed into the sanctuary to worship every sunday morning, extend a handshake and point them to their places of comfort. But then here was a lady who brought her own atmosphere, her own smile, and already had her hand extended towards me before I managed to raise mine. Wow!
Sharon is an amazing person, Beautiful and I believe child-like. The kind of person every responsible person wants to hang around. She has a sense of humour you don’t find in many ladies, no not common. I personally feel drawn to her cause she is friendly and has a way of communicating with people- like the day I almost gave up my power bank…
