When life gets hard, it’s okay to get soft.
When the journey gets rough, it’s okay to get smooth.
When everything seems far away, it’s okay to get closer to God.
It’s okay to want more from life.
It’s okay to want less sometimes.
It’s okay to get tired; broken, week, fragile, it’s okay to be down.
It’s okay to fall and not feel like getting up.
It’s all okay…
Sometimes life gets too harsh, the break becomes irritating, and every trace of hard work becomes frustrating.
It’s okay for your head to face the scorn of the public.
Keep your eyes on the Instructor
It’s okay to be in over your head.
Don’t get motivated out of your essence as a human.
If you don’t understand what’s going on, wait! Wait in trust until He makes things clear.
Wait in hope until your faith is strengthened to carry your legs.
It’s not always meant to be this overwhelming.
But here we are in the thick of it all, yearning for a touch of heaven, a puff of fire that can blaze us again.
I don’t want to sermonize perfection today, I only want to let you know that’s it’s okay to be smashed.
But choose to be gracefully broken.
The break has disclosed a lot about people— things about ourselves that we’ve never imagined or thought of, but here we are. Don’t beat yourself!
Free yourself from frustration.
Allow yourself to be gracefully broken before the Father.
His mercies are new every morning.
It’s okay to be human too!
