We are our own choices yet the biggest of that choice is choosing who to spend time with,who to commit to, who to be with I mean who to say I do to and stay forever with. What a hard choice to make.

My friend said to me”because I choose you doesn’t mean I had no other choices, it did not mean you were the only one who fit into my description of a life time partner,still I picked you. you were not the best, the richest, the most talented, the most handsome/beautiful yet I choose you,i choose you to spend my time with, I choose you to make me laugh, I choose you to watch and help me grow and If I was presented another chance I will choose you again without questions.”

After our conversation, I took my time to think through it on my way home.

There is more to love than you think.

Love is a realm only those rooted in God can fully express. You must know that God is love before you can love perfectly, do not get me wrong,perfectly doesn’t mean that there is no flaw, no mistakes, no ups and downs,perfectly has to do with the dimensions of love.

You can’t know that God is love if you don’t know God and if you don’t know God you can’t love perfectly.

To belong to someone is to commit to that person, it means to summit, to be faithful, to trust that person.

when you choose to belong to someone, you know that they are capable of breaking you, they are capable of hurting you, they are capable of letting you down but you feel free and summit because you have the knowledge that when you belong to someone they become your protector, they become Lord over you, they become the head and the head is an Abbah(a protector)

To love is to value, know his/ her worth ,respect him and he will love you.

I have listen to a lot of preachers say that men see relationships from the standpoint of respect and women from that of love, I can’t disagree to this. Humans naturally love to be cared for, every body need to be cared for and when you know the worth of a thing it becomes easier to care for them.

The best place to find a spouse is in the presence of God.

Show me a proud man who has achieved more than enough, show me a man who has it all, show me one who met Christ. Of all his victory love came down, he didn’t pay for it.

One topic we dwelled on last night was heartbreak. Does love die, I think,no!

It get lost amidst difficult situation and then because one isn’t willing to find it again,it goes away completely. I wish love never does because it’s a beautiful thing.

My friend asked me sometime last week if it’s the man’s job to make the woman.

the woman is a gate already made by God.

It’s is the man’s job to find her and bring her to the light of the world, she is a hidden treasure, a rare gem, he has to dig deeper.

Remember she is already made dear brothers help her discover who she is and release her potential.
