What happens when you wake up in the middle of the night wondering when the Lord would knock at you?
Hear me! Visiting time is never over with Jesus. He can be only as real as you believe him to be.
So, I stayed up last night watching the new series, chosen. I particularly love episode one and three because of Mary the possessed.
Imagine living in your own self and fighting all those demons every day. Most of us can relate to Mary. You don’t have to fight demons, you already have enough battles in your hand, and it looks like you are ready to give up. You are ready to end your life with your hands.
I have tried studying suicide, I have tried understanding the psychology behind it, I have tried tackling it in both ways: the spiritual and the physical. But, I have also tried so hard to survive and I know what’s it’s like to not understand everything.
I know you are fighting your demons (fears, insecurity, low self-esteem, anxiety, abuse, and many others) but I want you to know that you are not fighting alone! He knows your name, He has chosen you and you might not be able to see or feel it now but He is redeeming you.
He will call you by name, hold you up in His arms, and when you stay awake in the cool of the night, He will touch your tears, weep with you and clean them up. He is still in the journey of mending hearts and fixing troubles. He calms the wind!
And He is blowing, like a mighty rushing wind…He loves you.
Mary fought inner battles, she fought spiritual battles, and when she was ready to take her life and run away from it all. He came to her, she wanted to run away from Him, but He called her. If you are close to the giving up point, I hope you hear His voice and let him come to you.
You are not insane, he can cast away your pains, if you learn to let Him have it! You are not alone. And yes, he is here with you right now.
Can you sense it?
You are not just going through what you are going through, you have been chosen to fight this particular battle for a reason.
